10/23/22 - Music in the Woods- Tom Rice & Friends
"Looking for a post hike activity? Interested in enjoying some live music? Bring your snacks, beverages, and perhaps a pillow for the final concert of this year's Music in the Woods season. This concert will occur indoors in the Nature Center. Join us from for a wonderful evening of music and community featuring Tom Rice, Terry Hemmer, and Jerry Cordasco. Tom and his band mates have been performing together for over 20 years - playing blues, rock and soul music locally and across the country. Usually playing as a full band with other musicians, they are looking forward to playing as a trio in the intimate setting of the Schiff Nature Center. Tom and friends are known to play an eclectic mix of 60's and 70's blues, soul, and rock n' roll- from the blues of Robert Johnson and Sonny Boy Williamson to favorite by The Band, Van Morrison, Little Feat, and Bob Dylan.

Guests are asked to have face masks on hand. Unvaccinated guests are asked to wear a face mask indoors. Advance ticket purchases are required. No walk in ticket sales. Seating capacity and parking is limited, so carpooling is strongly suggested. All ages. Member fee is $20. Non-member fee is $25. Children under age 12 are free. Proceeds from ticket sales directly support Schiff and the musicians. "
